Hi all,
The correct flag is "-maxsize" followed by anything you're brave enough to read into memory, e.g., -maxsize 1e8 will allow up to 100 million frames (400 megabytes). Some operating systems grind to a halt when processes request huge amounts of memory, which is why the safeguard is there.

Hi Guillaume, this should be possible by setting the soundfiler flag "-nframes" to some large number.
