Hi Katja,
I confirm this behaviour in windows too. So I understand that the actual number of samples is the same, the only difference being that they all fit within the GOP frame when resized by a message, whereas the last sample is out of the frame when the size is set upon creation.
Should I report a bug? Or is there a reason to this?
Oops, seems I responded off-list by accident.
The initial situation with the last sample outside the frame is annoying, I guess this could be reported as a bug.

Hello Pierre,
With Pd-extended 0.42.5 for OSX it's similar to your description. However, when resizing to a low size like 10, and manually counting the number of 'sliders', it can be verified that the correct number of points is visually represented.

Dear list,
I've just noticed a strange behaviour of arrays in Pd-extended 0.42.5 running in Win XP. When I manually create an array and set it's size through its properties (right-click, etc.), say, to 44100 samples, the range on the X axis is 0 to 44099. Fine. Now when I resize it by sending it a message ("array1 resize 44100"), the X axis now spans from 0 to 44100 (that is 44101 samples).
Anybody noticed this in other versions/platforms?
Cheers,
Pierre.
