Does anyone successfully use deken for mac?
I just tried, now that you asked. And no. I failed at gpg-signing the package. There was no gpg at all, so I installed it with:
$ brew install gpg
Then I created a key (for testing only):
$ gpg --gen-key
Then, I did:
$ deken package -v 0.27 ggee
and got:
Deken 0.1 Packaging ggee-v0.27-(Darwin-i386-32)(Darwin-x86_64-32)-externals.tar.gz Attempting to GPG sign 'ggee-v0.27-(Darwin-i386-32)(Darwin-x86_64-32)-externals.tar.gz' You need a passphrase to unlock the secret key for user: Roman Haefeli roman.haefeli@zhdk.ch ID: 650636116E82BE28 in order to sign ggee-v0.27-(Darwin-i386-32)(Darwin-x86_64-32)-externals.tar.gz Enter GPG passphrase: No passphrase and not using gpg-agent...trying to sign anyhow Exception in thread Thread-6: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/System/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/lib/python2.7/threading.py", line 810, in __bootstrap_inner self.run() File "/System/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Versions/2.7/lib/python2.7/threading.py", line 763, in run self.__target(*self.__args, **self.__kwargs) File "/Users/itz/.deken/virtualenv/lib/python2.7/site-packages/gnupg.py", line 753, in _read_response result.handle_status(keyword, value) File "/Users/itz/.deken/virtualenv/lib/python2.7/site-packages/gnupg.py", line 616, in handle_status raise ValueError("Unknown status message: %r" % key) ValueError: Unknown status message: u'KEY_CONSIDERED'

Just to be clear: I _did_ enter a passphrase, although the error message suggests otherwise.

I had to go to linux and make it happen there when I uploaded the soundhack externals
My workflow is to build packages on a Mac and do the packaging and uploading on a Linux machine, too.
