i am not sure what is passed between GridFlow objects (and Framestein objects)
In GridFlow, a pointer to a GridOutlet is passed, together with a number type and a dimensions list, and then receivers register with the sender. When that is done, the sender multicasts a stream of data to the receivers, cut down in packets that are a few kilobytes each. Those packets are passed as pointers, of course. There are extra methods for negociating packet sizes and packet copying policies.
