hi,
james tittle was talking about that on the pd convention in graz. unfortunately the puredata site is down at the moment, so I can't send you a link, but I put one of his papers on my server http://parasitaere-kapazitaeten.net/Pd/shapeSynth.pdf. I don't know, whether there are also example patches. the idea is to use the "repeat" object and build the .obj dynamically in gem itself. i hope that is about what you wanted...?
marius.

hi list since a few days i'm looking for a way to create/draw a 3d-model dynamically. I mean that i can move the vertix points in realtime. Now my solution is: i write the points with [msgfile] in a .obj-file and render it afterwards in the gem-window. But the refresh-rate is very bad, with this solution...i also tried 3dp, but i didnt find out ,how to create 3d-models... any hints are welcome ciao moritz
