it's just 'normal' ip, so everything that works over an ip network, also works over an ip-over-fw network (but only point-2-point) it's around 4 times as fast as 100mbit ethernet, but slower than 1gbit, so nowadays it isn't really of much use anymore when 1gbit is built-in in most new comps and the cards are cheap.
sven.
I got OSX installed, and got ip-over-fw working. However, to use it, I have to use this spc protocol program, which just has a local/remote browser for file exchange. Does anyone know how I can use this to do netsend and netreceive? Do I put Pd in the shared folder and set permissions to rwx, then try to execute it from the other computer?
Maybe I should go ahead and invest in an ethernet hub. Thx
