hi,
if you start building big patches you will find it useful to name every send/receive/array/delay/throw, ... with $0-names. $0 is expanded patch-wide with a unique number.
this looks a bit ugly, but is still less work than controlling all names of all of your patches.

Hello,
a question about patcher structure. I know that one should use different names when using sends and receives because one could make a horrible loop. But is this true for such objects like arrays and delay lines too?
In
other words: Suppose I have two subpatches which both contain a delayline named
'delay1'
would this get me in trouble eventhough I renamed one of the subpatches? I always make sure every name
is
different but I wanted to make sure this is really necessary or just a lot of work... ;)
