i dont want to use the sms messages that my cellphone receives. I want to use the sms messages that a bunch of people are sending to each other.
those bunch of people are willing to send their sms or you're stealing from them?
try sending thru GPRS
i dont know how sms works , but i was thinking if those messages are stored into a database, it would be easy to use a server scripting language like php, perl , python, etc and then send those messages to a pd patch using osc protocol.......

Hello,
controlling PD from network is quite easy. Use the netrecv and netsend patches. Then you only have to manage getting the smses sent to network socket (and end it with ";").
I managed to do something quite similiar with jabber using this patch, using sms instead of jabber is just a matter of protocol (how you receive the sms, transferring to pd should be trivial).
