Hi Martin ,
Assuming you get past the ./configure process and are having trouble with "make" just add #include <string.h> to
GemGluObj.cpp GemPixImageLoad.cpp circle.cpp colorSquare.cpp cube.cpp primTri.cpp rectangle.cpp square.cpp triangle.cpp

Thanks everyone who has helped me with this. Gem is now running fine under Linux. The only problems I had testing out the examples is that I couldn't load models (which is no big deal) and pix_movie isn't supported. Now away I go to try and load new drivers for my midi interface. Jim
Hi Jim,
I too had problems compiling Gem under RedHat under RH Linux (7.1).
Did you get it to compile just by adding '#include <string.h>' to all files concerned , or did you also have to do something else?
Thanks,
