The solution is simple:
#1 connect a second monitor. #2 get OSX to detect the second monitor, non-mirrored. #3 drag the pull-down bar onto the second monitor.
I think now [fullscreen 2] will give you a fullscreen window on the first monitor. Or maybe its fullscreen 1.. is the montitor with the title bar change the primary display?!?! blech.
Why not use only the second monitor?
