This happens with Pd 0.46 but not on 0.43(extended). Perhaps something has changed between these two versions?
i don't think that much has changed on the [loadbang] side between Pd-0.43 and Pd-0.46. however, Pd-extended included a number of changes with resp. to Pd-vanilla. and i know that the [loadbang]s are different in the two version: e.g. the PdX one has an inlet.
Oh, this error is not related to the [loadbang] object, but something that happens inside the object when it is created.
There is a thread on the flext mailing list which seems to be related: http://grrrr.org/pipermail/flext/2015-January/000505.html
did you compile/link both flext and the externals against Pd-vanilla or Pd-extended?
Both were compiled against Pd-vanilla. Or I am not sure, as my Pd-vanilla comes from Miller's git, the externals from an svn checkout of the entire pd tree, which includes sources as well. Would that be a problem?
