I have X11 installed, but I did get this error until I replaced the
pdp.pd_darwin file.

so I changed the pdp.pd_dawin from RC7 to pdp.pd_darwin RC5 and
the error didn't appear more...Have some difference between this pdp versions?
...very weird, because I'd expect them to be the same...there is
the possibility the the RC5 pdp.pd_darwin was compiled sometime
ago, and in a different manner...james
