Hmm, the constantly changing Pd version number format makes writing a
regexp quite hard. That's the problem here. I haven't tried
Pd-extended with anything newer than 0.39-2. But that will start soon.
If you just want to compile things, you can do:
cd /Users/cefnhoile/Desktop/pd-extended-head/pure-data/packages make make install
And that will install all the binaries into packages/build. Or you can
try fixing the version regexp in packages/Makefile.buildlayout.
