Of course not! I've got the source code file "pd-0.54-0.src.tar.gz" from Miller's web site then I compiled it. See attached screen capture for Pd 0.54.0 / RPi OS 11 32-bit / RPi 400.

That's a known issuehttps://github.com/pure-data/deken/issues/206 but I thought I fixed it for good with Pd-0.54
Are you sure you are not using an older Pd release?
