This behavior exists in 0.37.1 on Win2K, bug or not... Duplicate number & Enter: leaves 3 dots, but always sends the #.
Worse, Enter alone resets the box to 0.
Worse, all number adjustments are sent (optional on Max)
Worse, there's no ABORT. A mouse move to the sides of the box should abort and restore the previous value.
Proposal for numberbox behavior:
a bangbutton sitting there. Adjustments can be "silent" : no intervening values sent. Adjustments can be aborted by mousing off the box.
uses 'enter' to destroy content on anything but fully and willingly selected text?
These are optional, so as to not break expected behavior.
So if somebody's already written this, please advise.

hmm, I have 0.37.0 and XP and if I enter the same number again then three dots appear after the number, which do not disappear after I press enter. I think the number is sent though... marius.

Hi,
a detail with number boxes has changed, in my opinion this is a bug... It is not possible any more to to send the same number a second time from
a
numberbox. I think before you could click the numberbox and then type
into
it and hit enter and the entered number was sent. But since version I
think
0.37.0 (or is it only with this version???) I can enter any number, but
not
the same one again. Is there a reason for that?
marius.
