I mean, something like: dataflow objects have "foolets". there are two kinds of "foolets": inlets, outlets.
replace "foolets" by something that:
- sounds better ;-)
- is distinctive enough (no conflict with other concepts)
- is intuitive (as in: you can deduce its meaning).
(or whatever the best you can do)
