Hi Matt, xrecord~ (part of the xsample lib) may help you because it has sample accurate record triggering. You can use two or more arrays that are written to alternately, always writing the full one to disk. On the other hand i'll also introduce array resizing shortly.
best greetings, Thomas

i have a question...
i want to do some live sampling during my performance.. but i don't know
how
long my samples will be. i can't seem to find an object that lets me
record
a sample without specifying the length. i don't want to record to the harddrive, this is for live use. i want the sample availble for playback/manipulation immediately. in max i'd use a buffer~ object.. i'm looking for some sort of equivalent in pd. is there a way to have a table/array resize for live recording?
