Hi Carmen, i'm using the mingw-3.1.0-1 package. You either have an older version where the c++ headers are missing or something is wrong with your installation. The <new> file and others should be found in the include/c++/(compiler version) subfolder of mingw.
best greetings, Thomas

hi, sorry to bother you with this stuff, but i cant seem to get flext
building in mingw, the errors are something like:
In file included from source/flbase.h:21, from source/flclass.h:20, from source/flext.h:66, from source/flbase.cpp:17: source/flsupport.h:19:15: new: No such file or directory In file included from source/flbase.h:21, from source/flclass.h:20, from source/flext.h:66, from source/flbase.cpp:17: source/flsupport.h:86: invalid use of undefined type `struct

<internal>:86: forward declaration of
struct std::bad_alloc' source/flsupport.h:89: invalid use of undefined type
struct
std::bad_alloc'
<internal>:89: forward declaration of `struct std::bad_alloc'
after removing #include <new> the first one goes away, but perhaps <new>
is supposed to do something?
just wondering which version of mingw you were using, perhaps...
