you can grab what is happening in Gem window with pix_snap and then use pix_record with a message like : [codec v4l2, file /dev/video20, record 1< if /dev/video20 is the virtual v4l2 device you want to use attached a small exemple extracted from a bigger project, so it can't work alone, adapt it to your needs you can also send any Gem chain directly to pix_record and to a virtual device without pix_snap
