Hello again,
Sorry to answer my own message (now I've read -way- down the archives), but it seems that the below problem is Debian-world related only, as Johannes said. There still isn't, AFAICT, a libwxgtk2.3-python debian package which can be apt-get installed.
Other than compiling sources ourselves (not lazy, just cautious), is there any solution you can see?

In debian, after getting libwxgtk2.2-python (already running Ptyhon-2.1) and doing 'make gripd_linux', I get an error reported on Thu Jul 12 2001 - 20:15:32 CEST by Johannes M Zmoelnig, which shows up when I try to give gripd 'open whatever':
Traceback (most recent call last): File "/home/dc/pd/bin/../gripd/gripd", line 23, in ? from gripdMain import * File "/home/dc/pd/bin/../gripd/gripdMain.py", line 21, in ? from gripdControls import * File "/home/dc/pd/bin/../gripd/gripdControls.py", line 325, in ? class mToggle(wxToggleButton, wxButton, mButton): NameError: name 'wxToggleButton' is not defined
Johannes pointed out that:
"obviously there is something missing ? looks like i need wxgtk(-python)-2.3.x instead of 2.2.6 ?? ah, now i've seen the hint on your page so debianized people will have to wait a little bit longer..."
Is this still the case? Do I have the wrong wx stuff?
cheers,
dc
