Ok, whenever you do see it blink, then it's probably quite less efficient than with «coords».
(though sometimes, some benchmarks give surprising results. but it's hard to benchmark it completely... I had to modify Tk to get it to print the time it takes to redraw, because that part of Tk isn't overridable from Tcl nor from a C plugin for Tcl).
