hello,
if i do : cat /dev/ttyAMA0 | pdsend 1234 127.0.0.1 udp
i receive the data just as expected with a netreceive.
receiving same data with comport hang everything.
ttyAMA0 is the mount point of the serial connection of the pi. i follow this tutorial: http://www.irrational.net/2012/04/19/using-the-raspberry-pis-serial-port/
cheers c

[comport] is quite thoroughly tested so I would be surprised if it is the problem. Wini Ritsch, IOhannes, Martin Peach, and I (maybe others) have all worked on it quite a bit. It might be the question of what format the data is in. what is /dev/ttyANA0? Usually [comport] is used with /dev/ttyS and /dev/ttyUSB.

hello,
i try the comport object on raspberry pi. it can send perfectly, but receiving data hang pd. data can be seen using : cat /dev/ttyANA0 so it's not a problem with the pi.
is there any other object to receive serial data?
thanks Cyrille
