Günter,
Im using redhat 7.3, gcc 2.96, ggee from CVS take yesterday.
gonna try on my gentoo system soon and let you know.
i could comment 174, but its not the only token that spews errors. all of them do.
I tried looking around the termios.h and other headers, but couldnt find an answer.

Hi august
several people have reported problems when compiling serialctl under linux, it works on my system though.
Which distribution are you using ?
You might get away by uncommenting line 174, of course you will not be able to set this bit then. (Or get the new version from CVS). Please let me know if it works.
Greetings,
Guenter

i get the following errors
control/serialctl.c:174:10: warning: pasting "|=" and "ISIG" does not give a valid preprocessing token control/serialctl.c:174:10: warning: pasting "~" and "ISIG" does not give a valid preprocessing token
it then fails on:
control/serialctl.c:174: `ISIG' undeclared (first use in this function) control/serialctl.c:174: (Each undeclared identifier is reported only once
any hints? - august.
