Hi Miller, hi all,
I was just wondering if the -rt flag works with NT. The list of available flags says so but when I use it pd does not start (displays the list of flags instead). In s_main.c I found "#ifdef __linux__" in line 606 just before the code for the realtime stuff. Moving this down to include the -rt & -realtime flag results in Pd putting out error messages about every second saying "pd: unknown message ping".
An alternative to have Pd running at realtime priority it to change the process' priority with the task manager of Win2k / NT. This gives slightly better performance...
Is there a chance to get the realtime flags running in NT?
Thanks,
Olaf
