That's what I am seeing - the hex names in my externals dir. Anything to correct that? Those are the only ones I cannot create, even when I type in their hex names as they stand as .pd_darwin files.
Thanks, Kevin

Wow, didn't know there were more than two. Yes, Frank - I read an old post of yours where you had started some abstractions for something similar to what I want. Unfortunately, even though I have iemmatrix installed (via extended... maybe I should compile from src?), only some (most) of the objects work - there are no tilde objects in the dir though.. But out of all of them, which would I use for an audio connection grid? There doesn't seem to be a [mtx_*~] object, but this is extended 38.4 - if that object was a recent addition then I ought to recompile or upgrade.
[mtx_*~] is _not_ a recent addition. however, it comes by the name of several aliases, one of them being [mtx_mul~]; you might have to create this object first, in order to see it's other name [mtx_*~].
otoh, if you don't see any tilde objects in your iemmatrix libdir folder, this might be due to the hexloader stuff, where non-ascii characters (like '~' and '*') are replaced by some hexadecimal representation (hard to read for humans!)
