The current state is that it’s not dead, but moribund unless someone wants to take it over. You may not have noticed, but we’ve been discussing ways to provide the extended externals for use with PD vanilla, etc

I wanted to ask, what is the current state of the pd-extended distribution? Pd-vanilla has had some regular updates recently (some of them with interesting developments), but the latest pd-ext version is still from almost 2 years ago.
