Why do you prefer the G4xx card in an audio machine? I have a G450 that happily causes all fo the problems with audio that an impolite video card can :(
Mostly because of their open-sourceness. I also found, that some audio mags recommend G400 cards for audio workstations, but that is Windows-World, and I don't feel comfortable there.
Did you try setting Option "PciRetry" "off" in your XF86Config?
