I'm pretty sure there's a big problem here:

You need to have "output device 1" checked and set "channels" to 2.
That should do it. No idea why this has happened.

Also, just a note: The systems sounds work fine. it was actually
kinda weird. I was workin on some PD stuff, and I tested a sound,
then worked for a long while, then went to test the sound again,
and it didn't work. I did everything i could think of but nothing
was working, so I posted to the list, and so far, none of those
solutions have worked So that's my current situation. no sound, and no idea of how to get
