Hi Coralie,
I think you should read the first chapters of Miller Puckette's book ( http://crca.ucsd.edu/~msp/techniques.htm). This should be very helpful. Ne le prends pas mal, ça te fera gagner tu temps.

The osc~ is on all the time; to turn it on and off you need to multiply the output by 1 (to let the signal through) or 0 (to make it silent.)
One solution attached.

Hello everyone
I'm trying to do something simple : turn on and off an osc alternatively and with random time intervals. How would you do that ?
