because there is no release, version number is only attributed on release but be sure that there are *a lot* of new features in Gem since 0.93.3 (which is 5 years old now) currently to identify the "version" we are working on (for bug report for example) we use the commit hash which is displayed in the Pd console when Gem is loaded. For example, gemwin.pd abstraction was last modified on 7372208 https://github.com/umlaeute/Gem/commit/73722085558ef9c693d3b8366459e5d195eab9de (only 7 first digits are displayed in Pd console)

as I said before, there is no release so don't expect to find any binary you could grab a copy of the up-to-date source code here : https://github.com/umlaeute/Gem and build it yourself depending on your platform it may be more or less straightforward, but you can find useful information here : https://github.com/umlaeute/ Gem/wiki

gemwin abstraction will not work with gem 0.93.3 you need a more recent version of Gem I can't remember when this abstraction was introduced, but I'm sure Gem has not been released since so building it yourself from git source seems to be your only choice

I am trying to use that gemwin.pd abstraction from GEM 0.93.3, but can not even create the window. A simple [create( message will not do the work, neither 0 or 1. How should I do that. In the callback subpatch I see it is waiting from create/destroy but does not really listen if I cannocet to the inlet from outside. Please advice!
