hello IOhannes thank you
IOhannes m zmölnig:
try building without libquicktime support.
i tried:
./configure --no-quicktimeapple --no-quicktimehw
but i cannot build it like that
"make" gives following output (just the last lines...):
... ruby -w src/source_filter.rb src/expr.cxx src/expr.cxx.fcs src/source_filter.rb:220: warning: assigned but unused variable - defaul t src/source_filter.rb:249: warning: ambiguous first argument; put parentheses or even spaces g++ -xc++ -DLIBGF -I/usr/local/include -I/home/efa/include -I.
ruby -w src/source_filter.rb src/classes_gui.cxx src/classes_gui.cxx.fcs src/source_filter.rb:220: warning: assigned but unused variable - defaul t src/source_filter.rb:249: warning: ambiguous first argument; put parentheses or even spaces g++ -xc++ -DLIBGF -I/usr/local/include -I/home/efa/include -I.
src/classes_gui.cxx.fcs: In member function ‘void GridSee::sendbuf()’: src/classes_gui.cxx.fcs:398:32: error: ‘write’ was not declared in this scope make: *** [src/classes_gui.o] Fehler 1
in the pd-list there was once a similar question about arch linux & gridflow: http://lists.puredata.info/pipermail/pd-list/2013-11/105037.html
You'll have to dig a little in the new features/conventions for the
build chain and modify gridflow files.
do i have to make this? and if yes how?
i tried already to delete the "quicktime-part" in the configure-file but it doesn't make any sense, isn't it?
thank you in advance people
christian
it seems that gridflow uses some linker magic to force libquicktime0, whereas wheezy only comes with libquicktime2 (and the two are not compatible, hence the name change)
