hi,
I had the time to investigate why the lame encoding was wrong on linux, and got to this :
there are difference between Windows and Linux lame APIs, they are hidden by Windows' wrapper DLL ( I hate DLLS !!! ) :
when, in windows you ask to encode N samples, it is equivalent to encoding N/2 samples on linux.
2*1152 for MPEG-I and 2*756 for MPEG-II !!!
I assumed we are using MPEG-I layer 3.
So, here is a candidate release for shoutcast~ ( linux ).
Enjoy!!!
Yves/
PS : did I see a virus on this list ( thanks for yesterday ???? ) ???
