ahh thanks, yes I remember reading this... think I worked out that its still not possible to SEND midi timecode out of pd, however, tho I may well be mistaken yet again.

means you can sync other apps to Pd or slave them, I was (just) a bit unhappy to find myself unable to do this a while back.

for the audio try http://www.jackosx.com/ but is it true that pro tools
supports neithier AudioUnits or VST? you may want to try a more capable host then...
