Should I be 'totally free' to write software which slaughters and maims innocent people?
What about the manufacturing of kitchen knives which end up being used in some fatal family disputes?
I don't think kitchen knives are used in the warhead manufacturing process.
This is pretty funny on the Pd list though, where the worst we can do is give people sore eyes and ears. Maybe Miller needs to put a stop to all
hmm, ever thought of controlling http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Acoustic_weapon with Pd?
Pd is not reaktor(tm), you can do more than just produce sounds: you can hook up a coffee machine to your parallel port (or multIO or...) and make coffee whenever your webcam-based motiontracker senses a person within the room; all the software could be done in Pd. you could also connect something more deadly than a coffee machine.
_everything_ can be used in warfare.
