Where is the actual BETTER LOCATION? C:\Windows\System or System32?
I do not know whether this is Pd side or Win10 side.

Hi,
If you are on a 64bit Windows put it in “SysWOW64” : this stands for “windows on windows 64”, and holds the 32bit dlls. (1)
You can also put “MSVCR71.dll ” in the same dir as “Gem.dll”.
(1) On 64bit Windows the folder “System32” holds the 64bit dlls.
Hope this helps,

Hi Pd folks,
There is a bug that can not load Gem. This is caused by missing MSVCR71.DLL.
I do not know whether this is Pd side or Win10 side.
Pd-0.47-1 Gem-0.93.3 Windows 10 x64
Workaround is:
CMD > dir msvcr71.dll /s /p
Copy msvcr71.dll to C:\Windows\System Folder
