hi,
i have a question about dsp buffers. i noticed that the input and output buffer pointers are the same in all the cases that i encountered. i was wondering if this is true in general or do you have to check for it explicitly if you want to do in-place calculations? (saves a copy operation).
now that i think about it, if the input is sent to another object later on, it will probably reserve a new buffer. is this true in general? this probably has to do with the s_isborrowed member of t_signal.. can someone shine a light on this?
thanks, tom
