yes pd -noadc -nomidi -audiobuf 100 works dreamy the one good thing (i guess) is that Apple purchased emagic last month

hello,
in pc world, you would:
set PA_RECOMMENEDED_OUTPUT_DEVICE=0 SET PA_RECOMMENEDED_INPUT_DEVICE=0
i don't know if there is an equivalent in mac.
if you just want ouput, then could you go: pd -noadc blah blah blah ?

Dear folks i would like to use my emagic 2|6 for audio input but when i run pd i
get
"PortAudio input and output must use same core Audio device"
apparently it sees the emagic as default #0 Input and default #1 output
is there a work round for this? cheers~
