I know this is of no help but - since I have this 'problem' a lot - I prefer to use X without *any* windowmanager. I put some xterms on screen ( preferably with different colours for different tasks etc...) and the pd gui using my .xinitrc file; the --geometry 100+40+0+0 option is what you need for this :)
however, the older version of enlightenment (6 I guess) has this built in the options for each window and can 'remember' those settings. Blackbox has some extra utils where you can bind 'remove window decorations' to a short-key.
anyway, I prefer the .xinitrc approach. make one that works for your performance, and just replace your regular .xinitrc with that when you need it.

This is going to be window manager territory. Most WM should allow you to set an existing window to have no border/decorations, and maybe even set up some rules to make all of a certain app type draw without borders.
I currently use wmi (wmi.modprobe.de) and I have a hotkey set up to do this.

Hi all, Is there any way to get a true fullscreen pdp-xv window, without any borders etc.? I guess I could try to use a windowmanager wich offers this (suggestions for this route are welcome too), but I wonder if there is a pd way to do this for just the output window of my pd-pdp project.
