It still happens in 0.48, just that the window at least no longer leaves the visible screen.
I have a tentative fix as it looks like the window managers can handle the negative positions just fine with newer versions of Tk.

Note: You do not need to respond to IOhannes directly as he gets messages from the list.
I can confirm this behavior, except for me the subpath window reappears on the right edge of the main screen. It does not appear offscreen. This is with both master and release 0.48 using Tk 8.5+. One issue might be TK 8.4 in Pd 0.47.

Thanks for doing that, I knew there had to be an actual bug in there *somewhere*.

Dear list,
I want to build a dimmer of 7 lamps which is controlled from pure data.
Basically, I need to control AC power from 0V to 220.
Is there any hint how to start it building, what I need for it?
Thanks in advance:
Popesz
Hi everybody,
I'm trying to move and resize the Pd console window with [hcs/sys_gui].
This used to work fine with pd-extended. The name of the console window used
to be "." in pd-extended.
With pd vanilla or purr-data this does not work. Probably due to the fact
that the console window is not named "." here.
Can anybody tell me the name for that window in vanilla or purr-data for the
use with [hcs/sys_gui]?
How can you find out what the name is?
I'm on Debian (ubilinux) 9.
Thanks!
Ingo
Hi dear list,
I know that Gem's OpenGL output is not primarily designed to be captured
into a video file but am wondering what are the best practices by the
list members to create a movie file from a Gem window's output?
Thank you for all ideas!

The ossia collective is happy to announce the public release of ossia-pd
v1.0b3 as part of libossia v1.0.0-b3 !
ossia-pd is the implementation of libossia for pd - several other
implementations of libossia are available for various environments, such as
openFrameworks, C'74's Max, python, Qt, plain C, etc... for more info, see:
https://ossia.github.io
libossia allows to declare the architecture of a patcher's functions as a
tree of OSC nodes and parameters. These nodes/parameters can have
attributes, which allow to declare some of their properties, such as their
values, types, units, ranges, etc…
This tree-based architecture (coined "device" in the OSSIA terminology) can
then be exposed under several protocols, some of which allow this
architecture, and the properties and values of its nodes, to be explored
and queried. For now, protocols available in pd are plain OSC, OSCquery,
and Minuit - more to come..
You can grab ossia-pd on https://github.com/OSSIA/libossia/releases -
builds are available for Mac and Win32/64. Linux x86_64 and armv7 is coming.
It will be put into Deken as soon as possible too.
We hope you enjoy it!
Please feel free to come and chat, and give us feedback on
https://gitter.im/OSSIA/
Bugs and feature requests are to be reported on:
