hey list!
I've been doing a bit of research for my next project, an avr based
controller. i was originally intending to go the midi route, but i
would prefer to use open sound control. anyhow my question is - after
shuffling through some ccrma lab pages i found reference to a modified
dumpOSC extern, dumpOSCSerial (can be found at
http://ccrma.stanford.edu/workshops/mid2005/communication/osc.html)
where osc packets are transmitted via serial port and interpreted in
pd. has anyone had any experience / luck / nightmares with this
extern ? any other ideas suggestions are more than welcome !
cheers,
james

hello, I've downloaded the pd-settings.reg here:
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/pure-data/packages/win32_inno/
and used it.
With this file, libraries into pd/extra are loaded with this reg key so we don't have to add the lines -lib in .bat file for loading "static" libraries as far as I understood. Is there a way to load -path with that .reg file?
here is a part of the pd start up message on windows with using the pd-settings.reg:
iemabs: can't load library
iemmatrix: can't load library
ix: can't load library

markex: can't load library

Hey there,
Just wanted to let all y'all know that my band, Capillary Action is
going to be touring the South and East Coast from Dec. 28th to Feb.
2nd. I play bass in the band and do some laptop stuff on my gentoo box
with PD. I'm probably not going to be incorporating the laptop stuff
at the beginning of the tour, cause I'm still working out some kinks,
but maybe if you catch one of the later shows.
Check out the tour dates:

Thanks for letting me abuse the list!

I've installed Pd-0.38.4-extended-RC6.exe on two computers, and on both
of them, the file was here: c:\Program Files\pd\pd-settings.reg
Its not there on your computer?

Hello!
I'm looking to build a couple of parametric EQs with 4
to 6 poles. At the moment I'm looking at the biquad
equations in the help file and can't make heads or
tails of them. I can't find anything helpful on the
internet either on how those equations relate to the
frequency response of the filter. I'm getting into
FIR filters but am equally confused. Any suggestions?
Has anyone else built parametric EQ modules for me to
tinker with?
Thanks!
Phil

I don't think this is true. At least, I can't get it to work for me.

Good idea, I'll add this to the patch until such a time as it becomes
possible to restrict array values.
