hello
i did remove both -Werror flags from the makefile
but this morning i managed to compile by removing all -Werror flags from all
makefiles in the /extra/ subfolders.
then (of course): a new problem was born
pd .37 does not find alsa and -listdev reports only oss.
(i did ./configure --enable-alsa)
what happened to the -alsa flag in 0.37?
i also managed to compile 0.36 but with strange results:
pd opens but the patch-windows are completely white and all objects invisible.
but there is sound and alsa works fine!!. if i try to edit something the
program exits saying:
Consistency check failed: glist_findrtext
pd_gui: pd process
Segmentation fault
how is it possible to
-fix alsa in 0.37
OR
-fix the gui in 0.36
?
bye

I downloaded angriff - just to learn from patches,
other people have done and got a lot of errors

connection failed etc.
I guess, i am still missing some basic externals or
abstarctions

What an Where are they ???
I remember ther was something about an $0-error, do i

I know this may be a bit off what anyone has done but i am trying to
construct a small shooting game with pd and gem and im having huge trouble
with the collision detection. i have it working but there are a couple of
bugs that i have spent hours slaving over. if anyone has any experience in
this department it would be very helpful if you could have a look at my
patch, because i'm losing too much hair over this.
thanks
James

Hmmm, sounds good Yves!
I wonder if anyone has done something similar for Gem? I would like to
draw masks over video in realtime. So this pen tool should include an algo
to fill in the object being drawn...
Any thoughts?
Thanks
