Summary: GOP-abstraction w. datastructures/ scalars bug
Initial Comment:
Hey,
I noticed, when creating GOP-abstractions containing scalars, that these are placed in front of the object's name and arguments. (eg. if they fill the whole red "GOP-rectangle")
This should never be the case, because one cannot see/access/change the objectname /-arguments anymore if that happens.
Hiding the text is nevertheless very handy for GOP-things, but this can be done anyways, with a [coords ...(- or [donecanvasdialog ...(-message. (More specifically with the "hide object name and arguments"-value.)
And leaving some space for the name & args is especially for GOP-abstractions not suitable.
..that's why I'd call it a bug...
(...pd-patch attached, finally...)

Summary: help patches sometimes don't open
Initial Comment:
Ok, when I start pd-extended from inside the folder ~/pure-data/doc/pddp, then I do this:
1. Open up the "Related_objects" subpatch
2. right-click on [tabread4~] and choose "Help"
I get this in my cli console:
open: tabread~-help.pd/tabread~-help.pd: Not a directory
tabread~-help.pd: Not a directory
This only seems to happen if the help patch is in the directory where I started Pd. If I create [cup] and right-click its help everything works.
Not sure if this is specific to pddplink or a more general issue.

Summary: html manual omits signals sum on multiple connections
Initial Comment:
The htrml manual [1] doesn't seem to mention anything about what happens when you connect multiple signal outlets to one signal inlet (ie, that the signals are summed and you don't need additional [+~] added by hand everywhere). It does mention throw~/catch~ as a summing bus in the nonlocal connections sections, but perhaps a note that inlets have the same summing behaviour would be useful.

Summary: renaming array with "rename" msg does not update name
Initial Comment:
When you rename an array using the "rename" message sent to the array, the name drawn to the canvas doesn't change until the array subpatch has been opened and closed. The attached patch illustrates the problem.
Also attached is what Ico committed to pd-l2ork as a fix. It didn't entirely make sense to me, so I haven't committed it anywhere.

Summary: drawpolygon -n flag
Initial Comment:
Is the "-n"-flag for drawpolygon (& filledpolygon etc) really existing?
It doesn't seem to do anything.
And what's the difference to a "-v 0" flag?

Summary: [bang~] blocksize bug
Initial Comment:
If I'm not mistaken [bang~] can't go faster than pd's native BS of 64 samples..
I think this can be called a bug..
It sould at least support all the possible fft-BSes.

Summary: datastructures w. variables & -x-flag
Initial Comment:
Hey,
I'm missing this:
I'd like to be able to click on a scalar (w. variable!) so that its [struct] prints something, while at the same time it is NOT editable with the mouse! For now one can't have both.
With the "-x"-flag it is possible to make 'things with a variable' non-editable! But at the same time this will stop the output from the [struct]!!!
So I'm missing a "scalar-type" that just shows something, and is not editable, but reacts on clicks..
Another way (not really) would be not to use variables in scalars but this is essential for 'higher-order' graphics.
Why does the "-x"-flag inhibit the [struct]'s output??? I mean if you don't want it you don't connect it...
thx & bye
