Summary: archive extraction fails with unarchiver on os x
Initial Comment:
When you use The Unarchiver ( http://wakaba.c3.cx/s/apps/unarchiver.html ) rather than the archive helper built into the OS, the downloaded archive of the current vanilla Pure Data binary isn't unpacking. It results in no file. This might be very confusing (for new users). This may be a bug in The Unarchiver, or a not properly compressed binary.

hi.
recently i have added bidirectional text rendering support to Gem
(this basically means that arabic and hebrew strings will be correctly
rendered right-to-left).
however, this depends on the "libfribidi" library [1].
since there exist packages for debian and fink (though those are a bit
outdated), would it be possible to install them on the autobuild servers?

Summary: filenames with semicolons
Initial Comment:
When a filename has a semicolon, pd 0.41.4 *eventually* gives a can't load error. It's trying to split the file at the semicolon - so if I try to load "this;that.pd" it tells me it can't load "this.pd" or "that.pd".
pd 0.42.5 doesn't give the error but also doesn't load the file.
This is on Win XP.
Not a serious issue, as I wouldn't normally use a semicolon in a filename anyway.

quick question: is the osx10.5-ppc machine gone for good, or is it
likely to return?
the machine seems to be online, but i cannot login to it any more
("Permission denied (publickey)").
also jenkins hasn't built on that machine for a while now.

Anyone on Stack Overflow with more than 1500 reputation? If so, please create
a "puredata" or "pd" tag, you need at least that many points to be allowed to
do so.
http://stackoverflow.com/privileges/create-tags
The question is, I guess, should the official tag be 'puredata' so we can beat
IBM to the punch, or 'pd'. I think 'puredata' is clearer.
