Summary: iem_image on Win32 cannot open unicode paths/filenames
Initial Comment:
Win32's open() returns only ASCII, not UTF-8, so paths with unicode will not open. Luckily there is the new sys_fopen() function in Pd 0.44 and Pd-extended 0.43.4! :-D

I just noticed this made into Miller's Pd and finally I can start Pd
instances in different workspaces again (i.e. new instances do not
automatically switch to the workspace anymore where the old instance is
already running).
I just want to express my satisfaction that this is finally fixed.
Thanks!

Summary: pd-l2ork randomly crashes with arbitrary long lists
Initial Comment:
Pd-l2ork version 20130111
ubuntu 12.10 64 bits
Attached is my test patch, which builds an increasingly long list and sends it to a [$@<. Pd crashes on my ubuntu 12.10 64bits, Pd-l2ork version 20130111 compiled 13:18:07 Jan 11 2013, I launch it in my terminal with :
~$ pd-l2ork test-dollar-at.pd
All i have to do is continuously move my mouse over the patch while it's running, and it will crash. You can also try to play with the vslider, it will crash. OR (curiously), it won't crash when moving the mouse, but going in and out of edit mode or saving will make it crash...

Hello,
while I am working on PuREST JSON, I have gotten an interesting error,
but only on Windows:
Two of my objects do not load correctly with the message:
load_object: Symbol "rest_setup" not found
On Linux, this works without any problems, as do the other objects in
Windows.
What is different with [rest] and [oauth] objects? Both are using a lot
of libraries, including libcurl, and so the resulting dll files are
quite large (3.5 and 4.5 MB). Can this be the reason for that error?
Thanks for your help,
Thomas
