Summary: audio doesn't reconnect after sleep on Mac OS X
Initial Comment:
If you have Pd open on Mac OS X, and the computer goes to sleep, Pd looses connection to the audio, and you either need to restart or select the audio API again in order to get sound. Mac OS X can send sleep/wake events, so Pd should register to get these, and use them to reconnect to the audio when the machine wakes up.

This very minor change allows "path" and "loadlib"

A more complete solution is proposed in the feature

is it time to revisit this? It's a super simple change, and makes things

Summary: number2 labels ending with '%' cause PD crash
Initial Comment:
In a number2 atom, when a label ending with '%' (or '%_', as well) is used, right-clicking on the number2 box and selecting "Properties" will cause PD to crash.
I have not found any other characters that cause this, and it does not happen with regular number atoms.

So it turns out that BSD's sprintf() isn't as fault-tolerant as GNU's. It
was crashing on unescaped %, I guess it was trying to replace them and
failing miserably. This patch fixes it by only running the first % pattern
thru the sprintf() then just copying the rest before sending it to
sys_gui();

I did some checks and the properties don`t show up (no crash here, too) if
you:
- take any iemgui-object
- set the label to anything%
- set the x offset to 0 (which is the default for vslider and number2)
If you change it to anything not zero, it works (again).
Tested on yesterday`s svn of pd-extended on Linux.

Pd 0.41 doesn't crash, but produces this instead of opening the Properties
dialog:
wrong # args: should be "pdtk_iemgui_dialog id mainheader dim_header wdt
min_wdt wdt_label hgt min_hgt hgt_label rng_header min_rng min_rng_label
max_rng max_rng_label rng_sched lin0_log1 lilo0_label lilo1_label loadbang
steady num_label num snd rcv gui_name gn_dx gn_dy gn_f gn_fs bcol fcol
lcol"
vslider acts the same but interestingly hslider is not affected!

This patch hard-codes user install paths outlined in this FAQ entry. This makes it so
that Pd has a standard, documented place for users to install their files, and means Pd will look in the user install paths regardless of the prefs.

When reading and writing files with [bonk~], it

patch. This seems to me to be the correct behavior.

however it might be that this my correct behaviour is specific to

attached is a unified diff against bonk~.c that uses canvas_makefilename()
for writing and canvas_open() for reading; this should behave exactly the
same as qlist/textfile

Summary: [bugfix] garray_resize should use int
Initial Comment:
currently the function to resize arrays is "garray_resize(t_garray *x, t_floatarg f)".
using "float32" as resize-arguments is a bad idea, especially in comparision to "garray_getfloatwords(t_garray *x, int *size, t_word **vec)".
a real problem occured when using [soundfiler] with "-resize" (and "-maxsize") for bigger soundfiles: soundfiler refused to load a soundfile into an array, because resizing "failed".
the "failure" was due to passing the wantedsize to resize() in float32 (losing precision) and then comparing the wantedsize with the gotsize (in int32).
since the sizes differed, [soundfiler] would issue a "resize failed".
the attached patch changes the resize-function to "garray_resize(t_garray *x, int size)".
this might be a bit problematic, as this function is exposed in m_pd.h and thus might break binary compatibility with externals.
an alternative (though not as elegant, imho) solution would be to add another method garray_resize_i() and use this new function throughout internally.

Summary: bugfix: [route 0] should not route symbols
Initial Comment:
up till now, [route 0] would happily route messages like [symbol foo( or [list foo bar( to the "0" outlet.
this is due to the use of atom_getfloat() which will return "0" for non-numeric atoms.
i think this is a bug.
the attached patch fixes this.

This patch fixes .pat and .mxt loading, it turns out that open_file was
just testing for .pd as a valid file. It also has the nice side effect of
allowing Pd to open .pD, .Pd and .PD files. Currently, open_file will only
open .pd files.
