Hi @ll,
happy to see that there’s eventually a 64bit Gem for Mac :) But I do not get it to work. I put Gem[v0.94](Darwin-amd64-32).dek in the externals folder, I tried to include it manually as lib and I tried the declare-object. But it is not selectable and PD says "cannot load ...“ Does anyone know where to put it? And in case it will work: Is it mainly the same it was before? Same objects and same concept?
I use PD 0.50-0 and the latest Gem[v0.94](Darwin-amd64-32).dek with High Sierra.
thanks
Hi Michael,
the .dek file is a compressed archive, so it has to be extracted before you can use it. The resulting Gem folder is then put in the externals one.
Normally you don't have to manage that manually: just select Gem (or any other new library) from the menu Help/"Find externals", and the package will be downloaded then installed automatically.
