Hello,
Id' like to compile Gem 0.9 on os X but I didn't find any GemLibs for the mac. Any advice ?
Thanks
Etienne
Hey Etienne,
GemLibs is another module in the externals CVS. (I think it is the same for all Gem versions?)
As for the projectbuilder/xcode project file, I had troubles with the CVS version and had to re-add all the sources. Seems often Xcode created absolute links to files!
Good luck.

Hello,
is there a way from within an External, in the render procedure to detect the messages "gemstate 1" and "gemstate 0" that i can see if i print the output of gemhead ?
benefits to be short and precise thanx for any answer

hi. please start new threads for new threads (not just "answering" to another mail and deleting the subject) ((gosh, i think this is one of these days...))

hmm. what is wrong to connect the [gemhead] to your external ? the [gemhead]s are registering themselves to the GemMan-class (which handles all the rendering; note: the implementation-details are likely to be changed), so that they are called in the correct order when rendering is started/done/stopped.
there is no invisible send/receive pair if you mean this.
may i ask why you need this feature ?
