hello,
yesterday i observed letting the same patch render in single and double buffer mode, that the patch in single buffer mode used a noticable amount of CPU to do its job while the double buffer one seemed no noticable use of CPU - same framerate for both.
is single buffering not or less covered by hardware accell. ?

the directory is not empty, but the index.html is 0-sized. i think the problem occured after a security related upgrade of the mailman software. you can find the search-engine here http://lists.puredata.info/search/gem-dev and you can access separate months via http://lists.puredata.info/pipermail/gem-dev/2005-12/ and similar
i think i have fixed the problem causing issue, but it might take some time till it propagates to the actual websites.

hello,
a year ago there was a discussion about having the possibility of not clearing the buffer in double buffer mode http://lists.puredata.info/pipermail/gem-dev/2005-06/001082.html so that things like motionblur could be possible.
was there anything developed into this direction?
