ok, so gem requires hardwarerendering. well nice to know. thats it for me and gem for the moment. if i only had asked that question 2 weeks earlier.... ;)
no it does not require it, you should be able to plaz with the example patches, but the performance sucks without hwa. maybe there is something else ...: u could compile it (as far as i understood) u can load it (-||-) the buffer warning u can ignore open a simple patch zb 01.basic/01.redSquare.pd click the create message turn on rendering with the |1( message box connected to the gemwin object
if then a white square appears it works, if not then there are still some other issues
after playing around with gem another night it finally worked for me :) the speed issue doesnt matter to me, i dont do realtime stuff.
