Initial Comment: guppy camera and lot's of good quality FW cam output raw data. (by example : http://www.stemmer-imaging.fr/fr/pages/products/line.php?item=AVT.Guppy.CCD....)
Most sotftware (processing , jitter, ..) can use this cam , but not Gem. it would be really usefull to be able to use this kind of hardware

the important thing is, that you have to manually set the dimension of the loopback video for [pix_video].

cool, i alway like it when other software crashes...
do you have to connect enable the v4l-loopback or connect Gem to make it crash? or does it just crash whenever you start the cam?

i get a video in coriender, but it crash when i try to forward it to a v4l device. i have not spend a lot of time, and now i don't have the cam with me.
